A quick demonstration with pastel on mixed media paper. This was on A5 pad. Simple but I like this. Based on an online demonstration.

A recent second attempt at pastel painting.  This pastel bird was inspired by Mike Beeman.  I used pastelmat paper, sift pastels and some pastel pencils.

This is recent revisit to an old task, two weeks ago I painted this in my new art journal. It is based on a charcoal drawing. I used black and white acrylic paint. 

Pastel woodland, this demo was a lot different to my first go, less smudging but more direct applied strokes on the surface. 

This was a prepared acrylic landscape inspired by Steve Hall.  

I loved creating this task for one of my classes.  The many layers of watercolour all added to the engaged nature of this creation. Thgis was inspired from an online artist.  The contrat between the colours is wonderful. https://www.davidchauvin.fr/galerie/  

This was done for a task. Acrylic  12 x12 in. I loved doing this one inspired to do more in this style. I love the colours.

This is a first go at this image by Rob Adams. Done in readiness for September 2024 term. I took my time and enjoyed the process. I love looking at Rob Adams work. His blog is quite academic too.
