This is inspired by artist David Howell. I used this scene as another demo task for my classes. This took a little time with so many layers and drying time between each step. I did enjoy preparing this task.

This is a straightforward sketch taken from Pinterest, which I have done as a demo for some of my classes in September. Nice to get back into pencil work again.  This sketch emphasised perspective and using linear shading technique.

This is a task I did today ready for some of my classes. This was inspired by artist Richard Thorn.  I am going to enjoy doing this a few more times.

This watercolour was inspired from another artist, David Howell. I did this one as a task for some of my classes. The Ariel perspective with layers of colour was a joy to create. I love the colours also. Took about 3.5 hours  to complete. 

This is a watercolour sketch based on previous pencil sketch. I used some gouache for some of the birds.  I enjoyed working on this small painting. 

A sketch of a bridge in Aberystwyth,  "Bridge Street" . I sketched this on Seawhite A4 journal paper Watercolour, in graphite. Will use this as a base for other artworks in ink or watercolour. 

This is a demo created for a class next term. Exploring pen and watercolour in a more fluid manner.  This was taken from a photograph but the style inspired by John Harrison.
